Strachurbeg: design developed for the rebuild of a derelict traditional stone croft cottage. Extensive local historic research was carried out to inform the type of roof structure and lime materials specifications.  A design brief that developed into a light-filled, flexible spatial plan for ancillary accommodation using a carefully selected pallet of locally sourced natural materials.
